Thank you very much Marc.
Really the outstanding part is the engraving by Andreas Trost and the production of the figures by Conny Schulte, they must take a lot of credit for making this set so much fun to paint.

Roger.

Thanks very much Ron.
It's far too sedate a scene for Drumchapel. :D

Your right, been to three parties there one in the mid sixtys and two in the early seventies. All were exit stage left affairs as the chibs got produced,

Great recruiting ground for Para,s Marines and SAS material.

No wonder the Antonine wall separated it from Bearsden, we really should rebuild it.

Hey Roger that is very good indeed.

The soft lighting gives a very relaxed feel to the whole thing and I like the background, it's perfectly thought out.

Great painting as always and a joy to look at.........well done fella(y)

Roger,
Everything about this is bang on. Particularly like the fact that the background has not been overworked, it sets of the scene perfectly.
Cheers
Derek

Thanks vey much Del, I made a conscious effort to keep the background...well in the background. I've tried mounting my flats on backgrounds before without much success but I think I might have hit upon a solution using pastels and keeping it "out of focus".
I have some likely candidates for something similar lined up.

Roger.
