Has anyone ever seen a figure in this uniform?

My grand father (10 generations removed) came over from France as part of this regiment.

I don't know about sculpting, but a conversion looks like the most likely option.

Uh, yeah, that's what I meant, it would make a great sculpt. There's even about about this unit titile The Good Regiment. I'm sure there'd be a lot of interest. And you can find out more about the unit here Yeah, that's the ticket!

Jay, That IS what I meant. I have a lot of information on the unit myself. The matchlock would probably be the most involved part for me to do. I'm currently working on a pair of late 17th century to early 18th century shoes for use on future projects. When I saw Al's initial post it did raise an eyebrow.~Gary
