I recently purchased another great figure from Alexandre Khokhriakov at Castle Miniatures and it is fantastic. It represents a Burgundian Nobleman of the XV C. with crossbow.
The 14 part kit is cast in a medium grey resin and the sculpting and casting is first rate with no casting bubbles or voids. When I first saw the figure I wasn’t sure (and I’m still not) if this figure is a depiction of an officer out it the field on campaign or pursuing the gentleman’s sport of hunting which I myself tend to lean towards the later. Either way, due to the figure’s status in his era, his clothing would tend to be of higher quality and with more color.
The pose is very casual which for me, lends credence to my hunting theory but again, it’s up to each individual painter what he wishes to do with it. The fit of parts is excellent and cleanup very minimal. The various accoutrements are excellently sculpted and their fit to the body requires no filler. The face is beautifully sculpted with a very elaborate headdress which lends itself to various coloring schemes.
Another thing for me is how tight fitting some of the clothing was from this period and makes me wonder how they actually managed to function in it, especially in combat. But, the sculptor has managed to replicate this flawlessly. The figure’s weapons consist of two daggers and a crossbow and the detailing on all of them, especially the crossbow are amazingly cast.
Although not an overly elaborate figure (with the exception of the headdress), this figure has lots of color possibilities and will make a fine finished piece.

I purchased it too from Steve Kirtley. Excellent figure.
He could be a nobleman at the Burgundian court about middle of the 15th c, and yes he's wearing his "civilian" clothes as if he were hunting. In battle he'd probably wear full armour. Burgundy in the 15th century was what is now Belgium and Holland, and the region in France that is now the Departement du Cote d'Or (I think). Philip the Good resided much of the time in Flanders.
Miniature of ca. 1447 representing the Duke of Burgundy, Philip the Good : use dark, rich colours for your figure ! Duke Philip himself ALWAYS wore black since his father John the Fearless was murdered on the bridge of Montereau. So if you want to represent him : only black.

Unususal very nice subject. Can it still be bought?

I agree with Johan and Darth Vader in that what we see our man wearing is a Burgundian 15th century civilian/court dress. As we know Burgundy at that time had also a leading role in 'European' fashion.

And yes I too see him as a member of a 'chasse de court' party and not a Burgundian Men at Arms participating in the siege of St. Trond in 1467 for example.

Wish there would be more figures like that.
