And this is my version of this wonderful figure. After seeing thousands of versions through the years I hope not to have repeated any! ;)
I have been playing a little with the mobile camera and some pictures as background... not very succesful I'm afraid...
I hope you like it! (I have been posting a SBS in the Vbench forum.)

Fantástico trabalho de pintura e terreno. Esses tons de pele estão muito bem conseguidos assim como os efeitos da água.
Parabéns!

Abraço,
Pedro.

Thank you sirs for your comments, appreciated.

Very nice - I like the detail on the groundwork and painting dry much (the dirty seat of his trousers etc). Like the photography too - did you do that in Photoshop or shoot against an actual printed background?
Cheers
Mat
Mat, I did it directly with printed pictures (shot by myself) with the mobile phone. You have to be very good with photoshop to have a decent result. When I try to crop an image with photoshop I alwys get very rough and unnatural results. I processed these images a little directly with the phone. These days I'm too lazy to shoot with the dslr, prepare the set-up and then post-process in photoshop. The ratio effort/result is better with the phone if you know how to do it
