Hi Guys

I have the bust version from Gra at EME and it is great , excellent casting quality

....this is going to be a very impressive piece ...if you like legs ..lol

Would love to see this painted up ...perhaps on a dapple grey horse

Thanks for sharing

Really great figure !:)
But it's not a Prussian Flag, it'sperhaps an Austrian one but more surely a Russian flag, captured in Borodino.
Louis Bonaparte Colonel General of the Carabineers only introduced the new uniform (helmet and cuirass) after the battle of Eckmühl, (Austrian Campaign
1809) because of the losses suffered.;)

Dear Zastrow,
Thank you but there is very little information on this painting. We believe it to be Prussian as only one eagle head is portrayed not the 2 on the Russian, also the cyphers. The Prussian I understand is based on the Russian.
Colour wise it can be portrayed as the painting although this colour exists of this flag in black and red - the one of Intenterieregiment No. 53. But it has a white center...: who knows which one Detaille aimed to portray.
As said the information is scarce and the goal was to portray a piece as the painting but many painters can choose alternatives.
Many thanks

amazing figure Graham.
I allready have the bust,, so this must pass my door....
On the other hand, yes, I like it so much that there must be created some room into my bankaccount.

Marc

Received mine recently and can only agree with the previous comments about this kit. The quality of both sculpting and casting is super and can’t wait to get cracking on it. Well done to both Graham and Carl.
