Chamberlain Flat

After seeing Roy Hunt's 90mm flat yesterday I got the urge to try and sculpt one myself. (Thanks Roy for the inspiration) For my first effort I stuck to a large size. The flat is about 200mm to 250mm (almost a Bass Refief instead of a flat). I used Super Sculpty to create the figure.

The figure is a portrait of the American Civil War General Joshua Chamberlain. The sculpt is based upon a famous photo taken of him aroung 1865.

Painting is coming up next. I am going to undercoat in acrylics and overcoat in oils. More to follow.

Very nice, Chamberlain is my favorite figure from the Civil War, please don't tell anyone I was born and bred in the South, humming Dixie now! :lol: Will this be available or is it a one off?
