... Great figure, well done ! (y)

Oh by the way - must be a strange coincidence going on here ... Did you notice the Bong and Mcguire busts by Jacek in another topic ?
Well, I heard that Lindbergh actually met these guys during WWII and couldn't resist flying a couple of missions in P-38 Lightnings with them.

Good work Michael !

Hello Michael,

Nice subject, natural pose and adequately sculpted.

But the most outstanding aspect IMHO is the painting of the face. The fleshtones remind me so much of NC Wyeth's paintings.

It's a sober figure yet full of character. Bravo!

I like it Michael!! the pose is very natural and the head proportions too (well all proportions) What scale is it? looks like 1/32 or 54mm...

Congrats!!!

Alex.

Hi Michael,
very nice figure, with the right 'old times' look. His appareance remember me all the stuff from the Italian Air Force Museum, above all Umberto Nobile (the dog in the picture of Nobile from the link is embalmed and still preserved in the museum, with a lot of items of the Aviator).

Hello guys

Thanks a lot for your warm wellcome!
The figure is scale 1:32 and is one of my favorites. I like the more civilian site of figure modelling. There are so much of storys, especially the old conqueror like Amundsen or Scott, first Himalaya expeditions, Zeppelin flyers etc. There are so few figures around which tells storys about that fantastic stuff.
Hope to do next time more figures about that.

Thanks again

Michael
