I got yesterday some kits for my shop from the first bust from Jon Smith Miniatures. And before I start to paint my version I want to show here some photos.

As nearly always Jon had sclupt the bust after a original photo

Because I got my kits before the boxart was finished, I found the copy of the original on the box

Very well and safe in the box I found three pieces

A wonderful face

The body and a brass tube

And as usual a very good discription about the uniform and the possible color is in the box too.

Hope you can see the number 8 on the "Kepi" and after a long search I found one little seamline

Perhaps you can discover the line too. It is not the big "later yellow" line ;)

Not many things to do before I can start to paint the bust. Forget: I hope it is not the last bust from Jon:D

As always, great stuff from Jon! I'm sure it costs him more in labor and production costs, but I've never purchased anything from him that didn't come with instructions, often detailed and including photos and diagrams. Is that the case with this one, Ulrich?

All the best,
Dan

"Only" three sides with background and painting instructions ;) And because I have order some other for my shop: In every package the same = Many and helpful informations
