Hi everybody,
after a lot of work my Chasseur is at last finished. I´ve done my best, I like it so far but maybe I´ll put some more filters here and there. Of course any comments or tips are very welcomed and will help me a lot. As you maybe can see on the small label, the figure depicts Chef d´Escadron Ameil, 5éme Chasseurs, at 9 October 1806 outside Schleitz, a village near Jena. I need here to give my warmest thanks and regards to Marcellin and M.Bruno for their GREAT HELP! Marcellin send me more than 10 mails with details on Chasseurs and I owe him for that! Hope you like the figure guys.....

Anastasios, you have done a fantastic job on this beautiful figure. I always enjoy seing people paint slight varitions of a figure other than the box art. Terrific job! ;) (y)

Hi Anastosios,
Finally I can write...Good painting, right colours (the green a bit more darker), I think you may be satisfied. Remember the peak, is in gloss black...
Cheers

I have to thank all of you for your kind words, you made me really happy. Marcellin, I´ll brush a coat of heavy diluted gloss cote to give the peak a shine but I´m afraid it´s kind of too late for the green tone. I started with a dark green but taken away with the highlights!!
Once again thanks to everybody,

Anastasios.

Hi Anostosios,
If you give the dark or black green equally very diluted, as for washing, the colour goes into the folds of the uniform and does a soft coat on the whole green, giving a general impression of more dark. However the green of nap uniforms was rather dark, then I think i'ts always necessary start from a base of black green, and after you can give the lights. I'll send you as soon as possible the palette of Lucien Rousselot, the complete range of the colours used by the great master for his drawings
Cheers
M
