Hey guys, this 1:35 scale diorama kept me pretty busy the past months. It shows a formation of US paratroopers (101st and 82nd Airborne) having ambushed two German soldiers in a staff car (an Opel Olympia convertible). The parachutists found a crate filled with bottles of liquor on the back seat. They need it as most likely this was their first action on enemy soil during the morning of June 6 1944.

The US paratroopers are Soga Miniatures, the Germans are converted/partially sculpted (Miniart), the flora is from Green Line which are laser cut paper plants.

I used Humbrol enamels as a base and oils for finishing the figures, the car was done with Tamiya acrylics, Humbrol enamels, oils and different weathering products.

I hope you enjoy.

This is one from those works i call "Masterpiece"!
Every figure, the car and the groundwork are so carefully painted and connected with the scene as you described it!
Congratulations!!!
