The Maori figure is great,but I'm surprised to see that the Ta Moko is moulded into the face.

Hi Mark...that Maori sure is a beauty...you are correct in your assumption that the image is of the painted figure.
I've had the pleasure of seeing the master, and I can confirm that the Moko is not sculpted on, the face is smooth.

The Figure "Storm Child" ist one the most moving figures, I ever saw.

I am very sad to tell You, I just read, that its creator, Roy Hunt, died last sunday (July, 27.) by heart-attac.
