WIP Cleopatra 1/12 Bust

Don't think anyone has posted this bust - painted on here before,so here's my take on this NutsPlanet creation.
Not for everyone,but I do like a bust with a bust........
Only two parts to it,already fitted base as there are no complications to attach.Moulding spurs and marks removed. Made a start on the face.......not quite Liz Taylor,but she's shaping up......

Some progress made on the hair...lighting not good, so not the best pics. Nice to see a review of this bust elsewhere on the forum..........

Weather not good,so more painting.....ornate collar painted,she's looking more like a Queen now .......
Thought about adding a hood to the snake( with some modelling clay) for a Hooded Cobra.We'll see how it works out.....

Progressing,with most of the flesh area done. Snakes head has been modified to an Egyptian Hooded Cobra,using some Milliput for the hood.As a priestess of Isis,she liked her snakes, evidently.
Once dry,right arm will go on.......here's some pics (appologies for quality)

For those following,painting finished on the breast coverings,and arm attached.The added hood on the cobra looks ok,so on with more painting.......pics could be better.

Now completed, the Queen of the Nile with Hooded cobra in hand. This excellently sculpted figure has been a joy to paint.The original artwork shows the snake as yellow and white.This does lift the overall colour of the figure,but I have tried another angle here. Any comments appreciated......entered this for Aug FOTM.

Very good, I particularly like the way the eyes and eye makeup have been painted.
