Hello,

I decided to scrap my former CE bust and try again. Here is the latest effort:

Hey Jim - it's really looking like him now.

If I could make one recommendation it's to vary the directions of the facial hair a bit. Right now it looks a bit artificial I think.

Also, I think the jaw line might be too curved in the unbearded pics. I don't think you see it as much when you added the beard, but something to keep in mind for future projects.

The resembalance is there but I think that the facial expression is too severe. The squinting of the eyes looks as though Clint has been shot! His lips are inaccurate; they should be a little more relaxed. It is very difficult to capture a likeness admittedly, keep revising the sculpture.

WOW!!!!, i loved the movie whenit came out so many years ago (saw it at the movie theater in Houston back in the 70s) and I love the begining of the sculp. i want to see some (chew) dripping out the side of his mouth, bubba.

Jim, That's looking really good, I love the pistols. My only comment regards the crown of the hat. By the looks of the photos it appears a little narrow.~Gary

Thanks Dave. The guns are just modified 1/6 scale colt revolvers that I bought over the internet. Wish I could take credit for sculpting them from scratch like some of the folks here can.

Roy, Gary, Jason - Thanks for even looking! You guys have been an inspiration to me as a sculptor. Thanks for taking the time to post your work here on pF - it's a great help.
