Hello,

I have finished a very large project, the 200 full mounted figure of colonel Burthe (4th hussar), by Gordon Mitchel.
It was a very hard project with a lot of repair and addings...removed the tassels and add the Russian Pavlov cap and rifle (self made) to the base.
Some photos are attached to give an impression of the preparation.

Hi Mobo

That's one heck of a project , really good reworking and the overall presentation looks great , nice work on the horse aswell

Time well spent at the bench

Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our May's FOTM comp and also vote in Aprils classes as well

....And enter in Vignettes & Diorama #3 which will be set up for 1/5/21 running till 31/01/22

Always good to see the artwork

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to the next

Happy benchtime

Absolutely superb artistry. I think that either the top sword sling should be shorter or the lower one longer to allow safe carriage of the sword in its scabbard.
