Must be honest I wasn't convinced by this one when it first came out, I thought the pose looked a bit stiff and awkward. Edward's painting has brought it to life though and made a big difference. I love the steampunk-looking revolver. Nice touch for something a bit different!

The huge "room flak" with the four barrels is a very rare "Lancaster Howdah" pistol, which Mr. Colonel may have procured privately. The standard equipment of the British Army did not include this weapon.

The barrels could be consecutively or - optionally, z. For example, in close combat - all fired at the same time, but then the cannon might have kicked, like a horse ...

Cheers

Really like this one; going on my must have list. Maybe the wife will get him for me as a Xmas gift.

Many thanks, it really is a great sculpt from Antonio and lovely painting by Edward.

Its more popular now it seams than before !!!

I loved the character, larger than life and a great uniform. I may have to do a few others !!!
