Dear Nap: I finished this model back in 2014. So I can't remember well every detail. This model is painted completely in oils except of the silver lace. If I remember well for the lace I used a mixed tecnique similar to that Danilo Cartacci describes to his book. I used acrylic silver as a base and then I painted the patern of the embroidery with blueish grey tones. I finished it with diluted silver artist oils that I painted here and there on the lace. I didn't used silver artist's oil on the sabretache. Hope that I made you understand.
