I'm about to tackle an 1/16 Dragon figure of an SS man (Schütz, Kampfgruppe Hansen 1944) in the Ardennes. He wears a kind of rain poncho over his SS camo shirt. As I understand this is a captured US garement. Would anyone have some color references for this rain dress? I already searched the internet and didn't find anything suitable.

Thanks a lot!
Stefan

If you pick an olive drab-like colour it'll be OK.
I suggest to use a satin coat for the poncho.

I have it lying around half-finished and I must say it Is a lovely figure, with great drapery and lots of little details.

Good luck with the painting!

Washed-out OD would work. Also, the poncho was rubberized cloth, wasn't it? So, at folds and creases, there could be cracks in the rubber, showing the lighter color of the inside of the rubber/latex coating?

Prost!
