colour suggestions needed

Could someone please give me a recommendation of a base color of the coat to use for Pegaso's Imperial Guard, Empress' Dragoons Officer, 1806-15 #54-207. Here is attached an image to so you don't have to look for the figure I mean which I copied from the Pegaso web site.

I don't have any references other than the kit box. I it just because I liked the looks of it.

Oil? Enamels? One of the hobby 'acrylics' (Vallejo, Andrea)?

The colour you're aiming for is a dark, relatively dull, green; you could try any of your dark blues (Ultramarine would be good if you're using oils as it helps things dry reliably matt) with Yellow Ochre or similar.

In a pinch you could even use black + yellow (Mars Black if you have it), but in that case I think you'd want to use a true yellow and not a yellow earth so that you don't get something too dull.

I would be using acrylic Vallejo with oils for highlights and shadowing.
