Figure looks great as far as proportions, shape of helmet and other gear. However the bayonet is not correct for the period. I would probably remove it completely or check references for the correct configuration.

Very interesting bust Andy....a question. there is the possibility that in near future you ll realize a Group of us marine "pacific" in 1.35 scale?
You did them in various scale ....but noone in 1.35.......i am sure that if you ll realize a Group of these us marine in dynamic (or static) situation they sell very well.........!!!!

Please answer me and again...congratulation for your sculpt figures!!!!

Mario.

The bayonet, as is, is post Korea (Viet Nam). I have my dad's bayonet from Korea, USMC, and it is the WWII model. Remember, Korea started a little over 5 years after Korea so there was a lot of WWII equipment still in use.

Hi Andy....yes there are on market various marine kit of Dragon, and masterbox....but resin figures are incredible better respect plastic.......and i assume that your figures with dynamic and original poses could sell well...but obviously is my opinion only......about resin us marines pacific, there are same good US DYNAMIC marines of russian firm MINISOLDIER then same old out of production WARRIORS and same giants of Verlinden.and a Group of static walking us marine of EVOLUTIONS......for this reason there is a big space for your us marine pacific in 1.35...eh eh eh ...!!!!!i imagine a scene with three or four us marine figures in 1.35 (like the one you are working on about us marine in 75mm in Korea three figure dioramas)....this could be very strong......i am sure!!!

Then, scuse me, but you dont realize same german figures in 1.35.....??? How many german figures in plastic are on market?????
You often ,realize 1.35 figures to add to same car, jeep, half truck ,ecc (hummer, dodge, jeep, sherman firefly ecc ecc) could be a good suggestion will realize a Group of 5/6 us figure tank riders for sherman in Ardenne (with overcoat, knit cap, scarf ecc).....there arent on market ..........obviously mine is a suggestion only...but i hope too....i like the way you sculpt figures poses ...!!!

Bye bye and congratulations.

Mario.
