I have been contacted by a relative of St Bruse (known as Sgt John Breese in the family) who would like to have a painted version of the bust released by Mitches Military Models .

I would like to ask everyones thought on how much this should cost (the bust will be supplied) or indeed if anyone is interested in painting this .

It is a difficult one ..prices range from 250-300 euro's for a 200mm bust ...more than the customer wants to pay ....negotions are in progress!!!!

Not really wanting to paint a 2nd version at the moment ..but ......!!!!

Not volunteering but I always like to help out descendents and family. I did a painted sculpt of a friend's dad gratis (F.W. Heinz) and would have offered a painted copy of my von Hase bust to a family member who approached me on this site but they never responded to my PMs. Call me sentimental but I think providing a piece to a subject's family is a special opportunity to hounour your subject. Plus it looks good on your modelling resume.
