You have done a commendable job painting this. I think it's a Tamiya figure, where most of us started. I hope you will branch out on some more adventurous stuff, once you confidence builds. You're sure heading in the right direction.

Nice job on 1:35th Tamiya figure

Hi James:

Tamiya 1:35th figure sets are difficult to work with. Before I realized that
there were better quality 1:35th figures out there, I bought a bunch of those
Tamiya sets. However, I think you've done a really credible job on painting
this one. Flesh tones are very good and your rendering of the blond hair is
natural looking. I struggle painting blond hair so usually paint it brown! ;)

I still use Tamiya 1:35th figures, but I replace the heads with Hornet head,
Ultracast, New World Miniatures, or some other well formed heads. And I
bought sets of 1:35th scale hands from Squadron Shop in Carrolton, Texas.
I think these kind of additions really help to make the 1:35th figures look
better. But the main thing is to have fun!!!(y) (y) (y)
