Hola Guys!

Here are the pics of the two figure Russians I sculpted earlier this year. I rushed to get them finished before the Atlanta show, and I really need to redo the groundwork or just add more to it as it kind of sucks the way it is now. All comments are welcomed!

Anders, that's a very good job you did on the 2 Russkies ! Perhaps the ground needs some grooves to simulate a dirt road somewhere in Russia(the picture that you posted as inspiration for the 2 figures sort of showed them walking along a dusty road/track) ? Maybe a bit of vegetation, grasses, weeds ? Just my 2 cents worth.Cheers !

Good Pics Anders............I was lucky enough to see this in person back in Tulsa so I know it looks 100 times better than in the pics.......beautiful work!!!

Wow! It looks like he really is walking! How did you get that blur effect on the feet? Is that the photography?

Really neat effect! (And, the figs are pretty d___ good too! (y) )

Thanks Guys!

Guy, I appreciate that! I don't feel that these pics turned out very good not to mention the Magic Sculp dust particles all over ot

Keith,

It's the picture All I did to the boots were higlight and shade then weather them with pastells.

Kenneth,

Thanks for the suggestions, I need to do something to the base, and I think I will add some grass and other vegitation.

I like the way that the feet are in the ground, you can see that the guy has got some weight on his back. Sometimes figures can look as if they are almost weightless and only just touching down on the ground.

Looks great Anders! May I suggest if vegetation don't do it for you, how about "rubble", couple scattered bricks or other urban debris. (y)
