I went back and took another look at the painting Kenneth and realized there are not any (that I am aware of) figures that depict a flag bearer on either side in battle durring the winter. I look forward to seeing how you progress with him.

Andrea Miniatures has a Confederate flag bearer too, dated in 1862. You might take a look to get some ideas too

Kenneth, Nice. A great painting to do a figure of. If you need any uniform info just ask.

Additionally Michael-Roberts Ltd. makes a Confederate flag bearer in 100-120mm.~Gary

Ive always admired Don Troinanis work. Especially the bodylanguage and facial expressions.

Can anyone recomend books with his work and where to find it? And is that picture of the standard bearer cropped and the orignal a bit broader?
