Steve also brought along his converted Jaguar 120mm Duryee's Zouave he was working on and described to me what he had done so far. This is the figure he is looking into on how to make a flag to attach to the standard pole.

Here is the original box art for the Jaguar 120mm figure.

Steve first ordered the spare hands from Michael Roberts Ltd and drilled out the hands to accomadate a plastic rod that will hold the flag. He re-positioned the arms to hold the standard and is now working on the standard.

Steve, lets get with the flag makin' already! HE HE HE..........Seriously, I am no help here. Just start experimenting and see what happens! I bet the first time you try it it will come out perfectly.

Really like this one Steve, I've done this one myself, but didn't think to convert it. I look forward to seeing to this one develops- good luck with it mate!

Steve stopped by the house yesterday and brought his Zouave to show me how he was progressing.

You can see the bullet hole in the canteen as well as the chain and cork for the spout laying on the ground.

He uses painters tape to mask around the edge of the base while doing his groundwork.

The standard pole is mounted into his hands and Steve is now working on creating the flag.

Thanks for bringing him for photos Steve...........excellent work.

Still looking forward to the end result. This is looking great so far. The hard part will be the flag for this. The figure's the easy bit....
