Cooler King - Virgil Hilts - 1963

This was a piece I did some time back,ive managed to enhance the photos now compared to they were before.
The bust is by Mitches Military models,when I did this only the bust version was available,now there is also a full figure version.
The bust was sculpted by Carl reid and portrays Steve McQueen who played Hilts in the movie,all pieces were painted and finished in oils over acrylics,i added a backdrop to depict part of the prisoner cabins which were evident in the movie ' The Great Escape '.
