Not sure if this is the correct thread for this :-
John Gauthier, Co-founder [with Peter Twist] of the above manufacturer passed away on 11th May after a battle with cancer.
Coronet were fairly prolific in the 70's and 80's, producing mainly 54mm figures of various genres, ranging from Ancient Greece through Medieval, Rev War and WW2. Subjects were always a little bit different, and my first metal figure was their Yeoman of the Guard. John later on went into larger scales, especially semi ronde and regular busts.
A keen reenactor, he was my 2IC [and room mate!] when we went to Belgium for Waterloo 1990.
A good friend gone, but not forgotten.
