I apologize as I currently cannot locate a picture of this fellow (FOUND SOME!). He was marketed under a few different firms. I believe TigerDio, maybe Minuteman Models too...unsure. Anyways, he's wearing a beret, goggles up, sweater under his black uniform, standing holding a rolled map...it also included a classic larger, square European styled road sign.

I'd like to buy or trade for the kit.

Its a bit strange to see a early tankcrew member in france with ss insigina (especially with the france milestone!) :wideyed: but never saw this figure.

Both the Leibstandarte & SS-Verfugungsdivision had armoured car platoons as part of their orders of battle for the 1940 French campaign, so this uniform would have been seen but not very often. The Ville de Caen road sign does seem a bit out of place for that time period though......

I guess that makes sense. The actual name of this kit is:
MM-033 German Early W.W.II Recon Commander (by Minuteman Models)
120mm resin figure
Sculpted by Maurice Corry, Painted by David Ackerman
Figure comes with base, French directional Obelisk with placards, map, map case.

Yep...that's him... I've contacted him already. He recently had a liver transplant and isn't producing at the moment. He hoped to have it back on the market in October. He usually sells on eBay.

The sad part is that I originally purchased 2 of them when they were first released. I painted one and it has ended up in a private collection and the second I had dealt to a friend.... Now I'm in need again. Argh.

Here's to hoping one's still at large!

Thank you,
Steve
