... Russia's President Putin brought a special gift:

A ten-member singing and dancing group of Kuban Cossacks!





A Russian head of state with a Cossack accompaniment in Austria: That has not happened since the visit of Tsar Nikolai II. in April 1897!

The Cossacks dont were the traditional black Uniform of the Kuban host...



...but the red ones of the former tsarist lifeguards ("Personal Konvoj").



Seems, that Putin also sees continuity there...
