Another dip into the old stash box.

This time it’s an Imperial Gallery bust of a Crow Native American. The scale is around 1/10 (or possibly 1/9). It was not stated on the box.

The bust itself is resin, while the headdress is white metal which was cast in one piece.

The latter item presented its own problems with the weight and general unwieldiness. Needless to say, it now contains a few extra wire pins.

Painting was generally oils over enamels and I tried out one or two of my Scale 75 Artist acrylics (I’m still not used to them, but I’m getting to like these paints)

Hi Andrew,
Lovely paint job on this piece, Native Americans are fun to paint and a nice break from more complicated uniforms.

I have this in the cabinet alongside the Sioux bust that they did. I have been trying to remember who made them for some time.
I have now noticed my version has lost two feathers which I am sure I have seen, but where?

Thank you kindly Bill.
It was fun to paint, even though the heavy headdress was a 'pig' to manoeuvre under the brush.
Hope you find your missing bits for your version.
Maybe I can now make a start on the Poste Militaire "Blood Warrior" which has been sitting in its original box for god knows how long.

Cheers,
Andrew
