Well done.
there may be an error on your figure: if the tunic is black, the shield shout be black. if the tunic is red, the shield should be red. let's have a look on osprey publication speaking about crusader and ''orde de malte''. but maybe i'm wrong

So, Francky, I think you are right concerning the color of the shield, but I chose the red color to break the monotony of the black uniform.

De rien Xavier!!
Si je ne dis pas de bétises ( si, si ça m'arrive de ne pas trop en dire!!), les chevaliers de l'ordre de malte etaient en noir avec croix blanche jusqu'au milieu du 13 eme sielce et ce n'est que vers 1250-60 qu'ils ont changés pour le ''tout'' en rouge
