That's a great piece of work. Powerful movement and superb sculpting. I can't wait to see it painted.

hello,
!great looking piece!
to me this piece looks very special because of its Polish element.
Namely, I presume you are depicting this very famous charge by the Austro-Hungarian army's Polish elite uhlan regiment (famously depiceted by Wojciech Kossak in his painting) - this regiment had been regularly and entirely recruited in the Austrian held (partioned 1772 and 1795) parts of Poland from Polish recruits and volunteers, and because of its Polish traditions was very dear to the Polish subjects of the Austrian Emperor and Hungarian King.
It was the most unfortunate and entirely tragic situation that they had to fight the Italians while bravi Italiani had been in process of liberating themselves from the Austrians...
good luck with this project

Fine diopama! I congratulate!!
Yours faithfully.

P.S. Forgive my question - to Model of a horse also your author's?

EXCELLENT,AWESOME
What a great diorama. What a great sculpt.
I only good wish that i was the collector. Who is gonna paint it.
And if i may say, this is not your first sculpting work.
I really would like to see more of your work.

Sculpting and diorama art at their best.

An episode from the 1859 war, I guess. I would very much like to see some note s on history and sources (pictorial especially) given more often when presenting splendid work like that. IMO, this would draw attention to a lot of historical events, lesser known than, say, the Charge of the Light Brigade, but all the more interesting.

Ciao Fernando, un ottimo lavoro come sempre. Mi piace sapere un po' sulla storia di questo pezzo

Thanks at all for the compliments.
This diorama represents an episode of the italian risorgimento when austrian uhlans charged and destroied italian bersaglieri at Custoza (1866). Rodakowski's uhlans were a particular austrian unit dressed with large jackets and slacks and a distinctive hat.
For Zlobov: for the horses i used historex horses and some resin head. Then i sculpted the other parts
For megroot. thi isn't my first work. I started to sculp 3 years ago. I'll soon post the other womens dioramas.
