Ok, I have a .55 steel rod I'm going to use for the standard on my Teutonic Grand Master. It's a pretty thick rod and NOTHING I have seems to work. If you have some experience with cutting steel, help me out........PLEASE! :(

Jim,

Try a carbide cutter disc in your Dremel, I use them all the time to cut steel rod and piano wire.

;) Thanks Bill and Chris. I'll have to go over to my favorite store. Wallyworld (Walmart). Like I need an excuse to go there

You can also get inexpensive bolt cutters from MicrMark. I use my pair all the time.

Hi Jim

I take it the figure you are doing is the Pegaso 75mm Grand Master. I was just wondering how you are finding building this figure as I just happen to be doing this one as my latest. Only mine is going to be of a diferent order of knights to the Teutonic.

I have found the groundwork provided to be a little vague and badly cast but the figure is superb, I’d be interested to find out which head you are going to use on your version...?

Dave, as a matter of fact, I have been working on this figure this weekend. I'll post some images of the groundwork this evening. Other than claening up, I haven't done all that much to the figure itself. I'll see you this evening.
