Have to agree great figure, but that price tag!
for a 70mm Figure? ok be it a limited edition
but too much for me ( and others)

Hi Guys
Yes Hammerstein is a 70mm figure the approximate total height including th base is 120mm and 50mm across the shoulders.
To give you a idea of production size it uses the same amount of resin as Judge Dredd on his lawmaster in 70mm.
Thanks
Rin

I've been offline for a few days so only just seen this one. As always I'm blown away by what DWC are doing. Hammerstein looks amazing, a real tribute to the work of Pat Mills, its been captured perfectly.

In terms of price, I'm not sure what people on here expect. 70mm is the scale (not the size of the figure) and if you know your 2000AD then you'll understand that Hammerstein is huge. That is one massive piece of resin!

Having several of DWC's work I can testify to the fantastic quality of the sculpting, casting and resin, and I think the price for such a large iconic figure that is correctly licensed from the magazine owners is what I would expect. You can see from the sculpt that there must have been months of development work to get this figure.

Keep up the great work Rin!

Seen my question answered, but started typing so will continue.

I still would think its a steep price for a 120mm x 50mm figure. There are 200mm figures that are much cheaper but take up twice the amount of resin. That is only a resin consideration though, there is obviously copyright costs etc etc.

What cant be denied that its a great quality product and clearly caters for needs of a dedicated fan base. I hope it does well for you guys.

Hi Guys
We forgot to do a height comparison photo so Darall @ DB Creative moulds has sent one over. Standing next to Hammerstein is Rogue Trooper who stands 76mm in height. So as you can see Hammerstein is monstrous!!!

Hope you like and thanks
Rin

Following on from my previous comment regarding the price,it was my misunderstanding of the term "70mm"

I can now see that the figure is substantially larger than 70mm. Also licensing fees will have to be accounted for.

If you are a fan this looks like a very nice well produced kit. Thanks for posting and clearing up my confusion .

Good luck to all the guys at DWC.

Peter
