New retail release now up and available:

BaneLegions and Darklands

As we're late with the releases again we've decided to skip a month and unveil the August and September releases together. That means we've a few to bring you, from three different Kickstarter projects - Darklands: First Edition, Darklands: First Edition II and BaneBeasts: Mighty Monsters! These eighteen releases represent the tenth, fourth and first set of releases from those projects respectively.

The BaneBeasts gain Kholukk, a mighty Ogre Drake, and the BaneLords get the rather foul N'nhohbs'aak'chs the Tainted, a Priest of the Flies. Now, for Darklands, the Albainn gain a superb new monstrous infantry unit - the Oghu Keepers, comprising five Oghurithne; the Anglecynn have Eadric on foot and on horse to contend with; the Brythoniaid get themselves a lovely lass, Carys; the Byzantii can now be led by Equitus Durio on horse; the Fomoraic have Mananaan on foot and on horse for their pleasure; and lastly the Norse can enjoy their first infantry unit... the Holumenn!

Oghu Keepers, Oghurithne Unit

Sculpted superbly by Yannick Fusier from the excellent artwork by Sam Lamont, the Oghu Keepers are a unit of five Oghurithne for the Albainn. The five are led by the unit's champion, Brugbad, and contain a banner bearer - Dungabad - and a herald - Lobeg - as well as two warriors, Bogad and Rubeg.

Eadric, Forthegn of Mierce on Foot and on Horse

Eadric was sculpted by Stéphane Camosseto from the artwork by Des Hanley, and is a superb example of the Angelcynn Forthegn. He's supplied here for you in a foot and mounted set, which saves you some money from purchase the two individually!

Carys, Uchelwr of Gwynedd

The Brythoniaid gain a lovely lass in the shape of Carys, who is rather useful with both bow and sword. Sculpted by Juan Navarro Pérez from the artwork by Dan Warren!

Equitus Durio, Centurion on Horse

Stef Kopinski (artist) and Yannick Hennebo (sculptor)'s work on Equitus Durio is nothing short of superb, as you can see from his horsed version! He bears a kontus as well as a spatha, so he's armed to the teeth and ready for a scrap.

Mananaan, Untain of Baalor on Foot and on Horse

Another foot and mounted general release, Mananaan was sculpted by Pédro Fernandez (foot) and Yannick Hennebo (horse) from the original artwork by Stefan Kopinski (foot and horse). Putting them both together as a single purchase ensures you save a little money from purchasing them individually!

Hrafnen Crew, Holumann Unit

The Norse gain their first infantry unit in the lovely (but hairy) shape of the Hrafnen Crew, comprised of five warriors sculpted by Stéphane Simon from the artwork by Danny Cruz. The five are led by the unit's champion, Vidkun the Brave, and contain a banner bearer - Snorri Snorrisson - and a herald - Gunnar Half-Shield - as well as two warriors, Jan and Undrik.

Kholukk, Ogre Drake of the Grimwald

The mighty Ogre Drake known as Kholukk - converted by Tim Prow from Aradae Mawr, using the artwork supplied by the awesome Wayne England - is the first BaneBeast for a good long while, and is the first miniature to be released from the BaneBeasts: Mighty Monsters kickstarter project. He's an absolutely superb conversion and is a cracking addition to the BaneLegions range!

N'nhohbs'aak'chs the Tainted, Priest of the Flies

Designed and sculpted by the blast from the past that is Gary Morley, N'nhohbs'aak'chs the Tainted is the first BaneLord for a while, too - three years, we think - and is a cracking sidekick for our other plaguey BaneLegions. N'nhohbs'aak'chs is pronounced 'nobsack', by the way, because we all have the minds of twelve year olds here at Mierce. If you hadn't worked that out already...

All of the releases above were officially released on the 5th of September 2015, and so you can order them right now.

Watch out for the October releases, which should be unveiled soon!

As per usual, the human sized miniatures are approximately 28mm to the eye with the monsters varying in size.
