Does anyone know of a manufacturer of decals. I'm after H.M.S. for a 120mm figure? Tried painting it, and my brush skills aren't up to it.
Thanks,
Carl.(y)

Thanks for the help. I've looked on Ebay, there's nothing suitable. Paul I'm after this, with the lettering at 3mm.
Thanks again,
Carl.

Hi Carl

I might be able to cut you a stencil sheet of this if you like, you can then peel off, stick on, airbrush of stipple and your done mate:cool:

Tommi

No probs mate. I will do several on the sheet of slight variation of size then you cant go wrong. Will try and get them to you for the end of the week

Cheers
Tommi

Carl,

Just a thought mate but model aircraft decal sheets normally have (decal) print on them saying what type of kit it is and item no etc. e.g. a kit decal sheet by "HASEGAWA" would yield the H M S (reverse W). They are about 2mm for 1/48 kits but of course are normally in black decal. Perhaps you could paint over them once applied? If this could work for you - and I have no idea how you intend to use them - let me know and I can sort you out. I am not sure what Tommi has in mind but with tiny 2mm stencils to try and stipple over, it may leave them looking a bit ragged around the edges?

After the 'Ladybird' book story you sent me, it's the very least I could do to repay you .......................!!

Cheers Carl and good to see you at the Telford Nats the other week.

Thanks Gary, sent you a PM. Gary D, I was looking at those but the postage from the US is a bit extreme.:(

Don't worry about it Carl. I owe you one anyway. I'll look at my LHS this weekend as they are a big Woodland scenics distributor. I know they have alot of different types of transfers there. Have a look at Woodland Scenics website below, click on what you are looking for as it gives more info regarding sizes etc. I'll have a look at the store and pop one or two in the post. PM me with your address. It's no problem at all from mailing items from here in Canada to the U.K.
