Saddam Hussein Is Not Captured In A Groundhole!
On December 13, 2003, allegedly the overthrown dictator of Iraq, Saddam Hussein Abd al-Madschīd at-Tikrītī, was taken by the US military near his home town of Tikrit - after a six-month escape! - allegedly found hidden in a hole in the ground and captured ...:
Other than the fact that Saddam Hussein was captured, probably not a single word about the story is true - not even the date!
This course of arrest, which was disseminated by the US government, and the specific point in time, were vehemently contested by Saddam Hussein's lawyer as well as himself.
It is very likely that the "hole in the ground" story is a US propaganda invention to humiliate Saddam retrospectively and to present a juicy story to its own people ...:
The former US Sergeant Nadim Abou Rabeh - of Lebanese origin ...
... who was present at the arrestation ...
... testified in March 2005 during an interview in Lebanon with the Saudi Arabian "Al Medina" newspaper that the scene with the so-called hole in the ground had been set, Saddam Hussein had lived in a house and that the US soldiers had encountered resistance when they were arrested.
Here is the unabridged interview passage from ex-Sergeant Abou Rabeh:
"Saddam was actually captured Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, and not the day after, as announced by the U.S. Army."
"I was among the 20-man unit, including eight of Arab descent, who searched for Saddam for three days in the area of Dour near Tikrit, and we found him in a modest home in a small village and not in a hole as announced".
"We captured him after fierce resistance during which a Marine of Sudanese origin was killed".
He said Saddam himself fired at them with a gun from the window of a room on the second floor. Then they shouted at him in Arabic: "You have to surrender. ... There is no point in resisting."
"Later on, a military production team fabricated the film of Saddam's capture in a hole, which was in fact a deserted well".
Anyway - the US-Americans hand over the prisoners to the Iraqi "judiciary" ....:
After a show trial on November 5, 2006, Saddam was defeated by the US-appointed judge Ra’uf Raschid Abd ar-Rahman ...
... be sentenced to death by hanging.
Rahman took the chair after the actual chairman, Rizgar Muhammad Amin ...
... due to many death threats and constant pressure from US proconsul Paul Bremer ...
... absolutely to pass a death sentence, had resigned during the process.
The verdict against Saddam Hussein will be carried out by hanging on December 30, 2006 shortly after 6:00 a.m. local time (4:00 a.m. CET) in al-Kazimiyya, a neighboring city in northeast Baghdad ...:
You will have to hang it up twice as the stick will tear the first time. Saddam Hussein's last words are a mockery of his executioners: "You can't even hang properly ..."
According to unconfirmed rumors, Judge Ra’uf Raschid Abd ar-Rahman was arrested and killed in June 2014 by members of the terrorist group "Islamic State", which the Iraqi government denies.
