This is one I started some months ago.
I was not happy with the face and then the gold lace. He's had two baths in Dettol, so he smelt great and came out nice and shiney. (Gollum, Gollum sneaky little hobbitses, I feel myself slipping into Lord of the Rings)
I am about nearly done with him, some touching up and he will be complete. I am now happy with the Gold lace as it has been a test of my patience but it looks right now.
During the hundred days, Desvaux joined Napoleon and was given command of the entire Guard artillery, he was later killed in action during the battle of Waterloo, ironically by a canon ball.

Definitely looks good, like it.

Chris

Looking really good.

Nice work, Bob. Le Cimier used to produce an excellent figure of this chap in 54mm, may now be in the Metal Modeles reboot.

Very good work on this fine figure Bob
Well done Mate

Thanks to every one, I really do like the feed back I receive, spurs me on for the next one. Brian, you would really love this one I was treated to this by my good lady for Christmas last year.
Best regards to all.

Lovely figure, you have done well with the painting

Tommi

Very nice indeed Bob. I think the dark blue and the gold lace are a very elegant combination and both are very well painted. (y)

Very well done. I like the gold lace work. I have the MM 54mm version in my GGA, so will keep your photos for reference.

Tommi. thank you for the kind words, really appreciated
Roger. This is what turned me towards this figure, the Blue and Gold, Thanks for the coment mate.
Clrsgt. The gold lace was the set by scale 75, Metal and Alchemy golden series SSE_010. Time consuming but worth it.
Paul. Thanks mate, a proper period is when you like the uniform, few more Napoleonic's to do.
Andrew. thanks for the coment mate, should have this one at Bristol BMSS.
Chris. Thanks again for the kind words.
Daniel. Thanks friend, I can see to paint in this scale, don't know how you do it.
Tony. Thank you, appreciate your kind coment.
