Thank you for the info,i still looking for references regarding the hat brim,i have some color plates from Eugene Leliepv. in which it shows the tricorne hats with a white brim.
the good thing is that since it was a timeof transition for the uniformology of the French army i could use some items from the "old" uniform and some of the new uniform and still be relatively accurate on the representation of it.
This color plate is from Don Troiani,and i believe is pretty accurate.
