Diorama Of Battle Of Wagram 1806

I would like to build a diorama based on the famous painting by Horace Vernet. As a starting point I would like to know if any model maker has any figure available in the painting besides Napoleon holding the periscope and the chasseur a cheval de la Garde. I am particularly interested in the ADC handling the map to the mounted Napoleon and the guy wearing a white pelisse and gold embroidered red hussar type shako and red overall and mounted on a dappled grey horse. Any help on experts in Napoleonic period in this forum is highly appreciated. My preference in the scale is 54mm and upwards.

This group exists as a fully painted vignette of Agostini I think.
Did they once bought on Ebay a few years ago.

Hi Hendryk , did you have any idea what scale such figures were and whether they were converted or scratch built ? I don't quite know Agostini , excuse me for my limited knowledge. Any photo of the fully painted vignette u mentioned ? Many thanks.

Hi, the scale is 54 mm and it is an original Vignette . And it is in metal !

There is the Italeri French General staff set that you could use as the basis for a conversion. The figures are listed as 1/32 but look more like 1/35th to me. I have this set in my "for sale box".

Hi I guess you mean General Bessieres and is he part of the group of the group of generals or ADC in the above painting ? By the way , is it true that the figure in white pelisse and red hussar shako is a trumpeter ? Is Historex figure now OOP ? Further input of Napoleonic era experts are much appreciated.

I bought a copy a few years ago, along with the W & G Bill Horan's Masterclass, and it is excellent; they are probably 2 of the best figure modelling books I've got. It's one of those books you can keep dipping into for inspiration; it's worth getting just for the pictures!

Marshal Bessieres. He would not have approved of you demoting him. He is the white haired gentleman unhorsed and on the ground in the reference pic.

Dear friends of Planetfigure , I read Osprey book on Napoleon's Imperial Headquarters (1) and on page 45 , it identifies the group of figures behind Napoleon in the painting by Horace Vernet include an ADC to Marshal Berthier. I suspect that it is Colonel Baron Lejeuna ( ADC to Marshal Berthier ) produced by Metal Modeles as his uniform looks very like the guy in the painting wearing hussar style uniform in white dolman , red overall and red shako. Can any expert confirm or otherwise and can anyone provide reference picture of the horse furniture of his mount then ? ie what does the saddlecloth like etc as I couldn't locate any such reference. Many thanks !

Hi , I think I made a mistake and he should be Colonel Baron Flahaut instead and Romeo model has a figure in walking dress
