So there are all these Black Friday and holiday sales going on. And I like sales of tools...
I know some members are extremely clever tool makers and make all their own sculpting stuff and if you are one, then feel free to ignore this post. For those of you who do buy sculpting tools, here's one I really like and can recommend. I've been using the tissue cutter blades from these three manufacturers for several years. They are very useful for cutting nice straight lines, particularly in rolled out putty sheets. The blades are also flexible to a degree and can make uniform semi-circles.
Not very expensive. I think the most I ever paid for a set of two blades was about $15.00 and the least about $8.00. You can find them on Amazon or on their vendor web sites. Micro-Tool has a lot of other really neat stuff in their catalog and I've had good luck purchasing from them in the past. I'm not getting paid to say that and I don't get a discount or anything.
AMACO Flexible PolyBlade
Eurotool Tissue Cutter Blades
Micro-Tool Tissue Cutter Blades
Usually two 4 1/2 inch single side blades, not quite as sharp as a scapel or razor blade.
All the best,
Dan
