I have a strange feeling the same prints were used in this magazine that came out in the late 70'.s.

Here are the original books that they came from....Army Uniforms (1973) and Naval, Marine and Air Force Uniforms (1975). These were some of my earliest references for painting military miniatures during that time period.

I'm afraid that is incorrect, the illustrations Neil posted are not in those, I know because I thought the same and checked my copy of Naval, Marine & Air Force etc.
