I bought the osprey "the armies of agincourt" on the cover is a very interesting mounted knight : sir john codrington satndard bearer to henry V. Any company make this figure or a reasonable facsimile?

Hi Bruno,
Barton Miniatures (in later years Kitney and Company)have the exact Figure of Sir John Codrington mounted with Standard, actually modelled on this Illustration,in 90mm.Although the Company no longer exists, these kits show up all the time on E-Bay.If you are interested in 54mm then you are in luck,Soldiers SA-58 Sir John Codrington mounted.Take a look on Chuck Robinsons "Red Lancers" Website.
Have fun.

Hello once again Bruno,
I just saw that www.zinnfigur.com (Berliner Zinnfiguren) have the aforementioned Kitney and Company 90mm version Sir John Codrington available for EUROs 92,00.
Hope this helps !

Hi,
This figure was the first in the new Del Prado set Mediaevl Warriors, It,s quite well painted but the standard has no detail but at £2.95 it,s a bargin, a quick dip in paint stripper and a descent paint job and it would grace any collection its 54mm and I think they are made by King&Country. It appears quite often on Ebay hope this is of some help
George ;)
