The latest one from the bench, despite heath wave and virus madness: a Senior Lieutenant of the Don Cossack in the Red Army WW2. The 120mm figure was sculpted by Rendall Patton for Warriors, now long OOP and obtained through the good grace of forum member Jimbo. Painted in oils as usual. Thanks to this forum the unfindable can be found!

Very nice paint job.
however, the miniature itself has somе issues - the peaked cap propotions are off; it should carry a cocarde instead of the star, given the officer's rank; the tunic is not government issue; the Guards badge and the Order of Red Star should be worn above the pocket; the shashka is too big and of wrong shape
