WIP Don Cossack

I’m doing this bust from Sabot Miniatures alongside the Munster Fusiliers Bust. It’s a recent release by Sabot and when I saw the preview of this figure in the Figure News section I was really taken with the character of the sculpt accentuated by the super box art. It’s a lovely figure with really crisp detail. There were however a few little issues -part of the cap peak was broken and the end of the first finger on his whip hand was missing. There was also a large hole at the back of the cap as if the resin hadn’t settled/formed there. These were easily fixed with a bit of Milliput however and haven’t detracted from my enjoyment in tackling this project.

Thanks Steve. The sculpting/shape of the veins was commented on quite a bit I think when this kit was previewed on here in the Figure news section.
