Am following this with great interest!
I live in the county of Kent where hoards of Dornier 17, Heinkel 111 and Junkers 88 bombers were a familiar sight during the height of the Battle of Britain.
Many crashed and smashed into the houses and fields around the Rochester and Medway area, and in particular I have researched the Dorniers of KG2 and KG3.
Hope to get down to the coast when this particular Dornier is bought back to shore.

Alot of rust. You can see the plane, but if there will be something showable off into the future ????
