Guy
A Fixture
I had a welcome surprise in the mailbox today. Two of the Warlord Saga figures came in the mail. I was quite surprised to see 2 different sized boxes for both being 54mm figures. The difference was inside the box as the Volgor was actually a 90mm figure (review to follow). The first photo shows the 2 different boxes as I got them.
The first review is on:
Drunegar Runekeeper
54mm white metal
Sculpted by Joaquin Palacios
Painter unknown
7 parts
Upon opening the kit I was amazed at the detail Joaquin has sculpted into this little jewel. Just cries to be painted. There were 7 parts cast with the small parts sealed in a clear plastic envelope.
All parts had minimal seam lines and none seemed to be in precarious places and should clean up nicely.
The main torso with the right leg were the main piece with the left leg being cast seperetly. All parts dry-fit tightly.
The one thing that drew me to this figure was the detail scribed into the axe.
Here is the head and beard with lots of detail sculpted into it.
The sheild with detail sculpted onto the face
