Hi,

Arrived today:p from Steve Kirtley (SK Miniatures), this amazing bust from DTOYS of Korea.(y)
A perfect mold, with no cleaning need:)
Overall, one good choise for guys like me who love German Militaria.

With respect to the artist that made it, I have to judge the bust as a potential customer : For me, is not good at all :-(
The result looks totaly cheap.

Looks like a great piece to me. Well cast and well sculpted. I like the wrinkly shirt, a nice touch for a DAK piece.

I have had my eye on this one for some time but haven't had much luck with the modern warriors so I tend to stay with the knights and ancients As far as it looking cheap the only thing I can say is that maybe the grey is a little off putting to some people since this tends to be a typical plastic model color. But that is just my opinion.
 
Sorry to say it, but this bust looks better unpainted. The box art looks over painted and loses all the fine details. He looks like the Hulk straining at his shirt, with too much of a frown and an odd looking pink scarf, and his goggles look like shades!

The sculpt, however is beyond excellent! BRAVO!

If I could suggest one thing it would be to have the goggles hollow to allow lenses (in this scale).
