Hi all

Just want to extend an open invitation to the Dublin Annual Show on May 22nd & 23rd.

IrishModellersNEWsoc.jpg

We have lots of different classes and this year the main figure classes will be on an open system similar to that of Euro Militaire with multiple awards allowed. See our web page for full details at.

This years show will be held in the National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks in the heart of Dublin. Collins Barracks has the distinction of being the longest continually occupied Military Barracks in Europe

On display is the Soldiers & Chiefs Exhibition which is a display of the Irish at war at Home and Abroad since 1550

There is also a dead zoo exhibition on the site.

The real Dublin Zoo is located about a 10 minute walk away in the Phoenix Park and the Guinness Brewery is right across the bridge. The museum is easily accessed by Tram which stops right outside the front door and Heuston Railway Station is a 5 minute walk away.

The nearest Hotel is the Aisling Hotel Parkgate Street which is right outside the venue. We are in the process of securing discounted rates for the Hotel and will post details on our website as soon as we have confirmation.

Please feel free to e mail me at [email protected] for any further info you might need.

Thanks
