Duplicating feathers

Starting a new project
Any suggestions for producing feathers in quantity 2-300 in 54 - 75 mm. Prefer a method that will allow some reshaping. Have made a few individual with good detail, however with the number needed this will take a looooong time.

First, what type of feathers? Makes quite a difference what kind and size they are.

For typical feathers I like to use foil, since you get near to true scale thickness. It would be one heck of a job making hundreds of them, but if you production-line the process you could get through it.
