I got this cracker last night, face is oils over acrylics. Beard and helmet just blocked in.

Carl, a great start and a cracking little figure, one a lot of members might not be familiar with. (y)

Carl looks good so far. I f i can make one suggestion is trying to use a bit more napples yellow or yellow ochre in your basic skintone. That way highlighting it will bring a more warm yellowish hue. I hope what i wrote makes sense to you. Keep up.
 
Maybe a tiny bit of near-white high-lights here and there to take the layers of beard to the next level? Right now it is decent. But we all want more than decent...
 
Nice start to this one mate and a figure ive not seen before, who produces it ?

I like those eyes just visible under the helmet, the way you have tucked the eyes under the upper eyelids looks like he means business, also nice job on the horns.

It's not commercially available. It's one of Terry Pratchett's creations apparently.
